Tommy Walmsley, Master Plumber and Owner

For nearly 30 years, Tommy has been working in the plumbing and heating industry and opened Minnesota Plumbing Arts in 2021.

Since opening, MPA has nearly 400 clients, largely from recommendations and word of mouth and earning 5-star reviews for excellent, attentive customer service, affordable solutions, and absolutely no sales or high pressure scare tactics. Tommy is well versed in everything from rough-ins, repairs and regular maintenance, as well as diagnosing hard to solve plumbing issues.

Tommy is always available by phone to answer any questions and offer advice to our valued customers.

Job Walmsley

Job has roughly a decade of experience, starting his plumbing career just out of high school.

After serving in the military, Job worked as a plumber on Martha’s Vineyard for several years, returning to Minnesota in 2022 to work for the family business. He has since earned certification as an HVAC technician.

Job excels at diagnosing troublesome plumbing issues, repairs, and servicing boilers.

Andrew Gotvald

Andy has been a plumber for nearly a decade working for another company until he was hired by MPA in November of 2024.

Andy enjoys the challenge of plumbing, the variety of work as each job is different, and the satisfaction of completing a job well.

Although he is top notch in all areas of plumbing, he is especially good at rough-in jobs and finish work.

Joelle Walmlsey

Joelle is Tommy’s wife and Job’s mom, as well as part-time assistant at MPA making sure jobs get scheduled, invoices get sent, bills are paid, and is responsible for all business related paperwork and administrative details.

She knows nothing about plumbing and can’t fix anything but Tommy’s lunch, as her primary job is teaching World Religions and Philosophy. She prefers reading poetry and Plato over the plumbing code and still has trouble understanding the basic physics of a toilet.

Unlike Tommy, she is never available by phone and, unless you want advice on how to write a thesis statement on Hegelian dialectics, she has no practical advice.
